Shout triumphantly to the Lord, all the earth.
Serve the Lord with gladness;
come before Him with joyful songs.
Acknowledge that Yahweh is God.
He made us, and we are His —
His people, the sheep of His pasture.
Enter His gates with thanksgiving
and His courts with praise.
Give thanks to Him and praise His name.
For Yahweh is good, and His love is eternal;
His faithfulness endures though all generations.

In this season of thanksgiving, I am inspired to praise the Lord with gratitude. What if we slowed down and spent time this week in reflection of the mercies and provisions and love of the Lord? What if we praised the Lord for what he has already done? What if we blessed the Lord with gratitude?
It is so easy to focus on the negative or to just keep trudging forward in life without acknowledging the incredible things our Lord has done and is doing in us and for us and with us! He is a jealous God & He is fighting for us! He deserves all the glory!
I personally love lists — I think in lists. Seriously, you should see my planner and you would understand. Ha! So this morning I took some time to write out a list to the Lord.
Whatever your style, whether it be lists like me or sketching or painting or reflecting while cooking or on a run, or even just typing a note into your phone before falling asleep, take some time with the Lord and praise Him! Thank Him! Because he made us and we are his.
